Michael D. Ferrarese, a native of Englewood, New Jersey, located in Bergen County, and was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2000.  Mr. Ferrarese attended Manhattan College where he received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1992 and Union University Albany Law School where he received his doctor of jurisprudence in 1999.  After graduation from Manhattan College, he worked at Chemical Banking Corp. where he went through the Management Training Program for Finance and was assigned to the apparel/textile industry.  He moved on from Chemical Banking Corp. to Fuji Bank Ltd. in July 1993 to trade euro dollar futures and interest rate swaps.  In 1995, he took a position with the New York County District Attorney’s Office and that is where his interest in law began.  In September 1999, he married Oxford native, Heather L. Bartle.  Heather Ferrarese’s family owns and operates Bartles’ Pharmacy in Oxford where Heather is a pharmacist.  Mr. Ferrarese is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association, Chenango County Bar Association and is past President of the Chenango County Council on the Arts (2005-2006).  He is a Member of Board 49 Southern Tier Basketball Officials (Advisory Counsel 2004 - Current).  He practices in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Administration, Business Entities (LLC’s, Corporations and Partnerships), Matrimonial and Family Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation.
